Leading Saudi Arabian Artist Abdulnasser Gharem Supports MENA's Creators

Abdulnasser Gharem is an internationally acclaimed artist from Saudi Arabia and key figure in advancing the region’s art scene. His contemporary artwork evokes themes related to authority and freedom of thought, important yet contentious topics for creators in MENA.

Abdulnasser is keen to draw on his success to expand art education in Saudi Arabia and the region more broadly. He co-founded Edge of Arabia in 2003 and established Gharem Studio in 2013, two nonprofits that facilitate resource-sharing and collaboration for emerging artists in MENA.

His first solo gallery exhibition in New York, Hospitable Thoughtswill be presented through December 18, 2022 at MARC STRAUS.
