On September 30, 2020, Quino, an Argentine cartoonist and creator of the beloved comic “Mafalda,” passed away. The adored, avant-garde comic ran from 1964 to 1973, focusing on the daily life of Mafalda, an optimistic young girl from Buenos Aires who favored philosophical questions and precocious commentary. This video commemorates Quino’s legacy and the lasting impact of “Mafalda” in Argentina and around the world.
