CloseWinning (or Losing) Hearts and Minds?
July 9, 2011
Since September 11, 2001, both the Bush and Obama Administrations have placed an emphasis on building a better dialogue with the "Muslim world." This week on dialogue we explore the idea of "winning hearts and minds." Host John Milewski is joined by guests Roger Hardy, Abdul Aziz Said, and Roberto Toscano. Roger Hardy is a recent Wilson Center public policy scholar and a former Middle East and Islamic affairs analyst for the BBC. Abdul Aziz Said is the senior ranking professor at American University, and the first occupant of the endowed Mohammed Said Farsi Chair of Islamic Peace.
